The Intensive Program IP “Smart Home” 2014 took place in Jyväskylä, Finland between 1st and 16th March 2014.

During the IP the students worked in internationally and interdisciplinary mixed teams. The professors and teachers gave them a lot of information during their lectures. The first teamwork result was a paper model of a coffee machine. That entrance project has been done with the aim to introduce themselves in the internationally mixed teams and to find out the strengths and weaknesses of every team member.

Smart Home project

The main subject the students had to deal with was the “Smart Home Project”. The teams had to rebuild a house into a smart home for people with special needs or older people. Read more about project task.

Learning Diaries

The Learning Diaries have been an instrument of documentation of the learning process and the all scientific and cultural activities during the two weeks of IP.
