This publication is assembled from presentations which were delivered at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, School of Health and Social Sciences International Summer School 2007. In the publication advancements in health and well-being are investigated from varying perspectives - family, aging, multiculturalism and creativity. The publication is the result of a collaborative process between long-term, international cooperative work partnerships of professionals and students.

The publication is meant for persons advancing their work in the fields of health and well-being. It is intended for Finns and our cooperative partners, in addition to students and teachers studying in the field. It is hoped to inspire continued international collaboration and to develop procedures for promoting health and well-being, as well as to improve the quality of education within the field.
