Non-attendance

A student is to begin his studies in the beginning of the academic year following the selection. An exception to this rule can only be made for very particular reasons (due to long-term illness, maternity/paternity leave or military service). More information about the study entitlement.

Request for restoration of the lost study entitlement

If a student has not enrolled for attendance or non-attendance within the enrolment period and has lost his study entitlement, she/he can apply to the student services manager for a new study entitlement, if she/he has not exceeded the maximum study period. Request for discretionary extension of study period

Instructions on how to apply for discretionary extension of study period.

The electronic form is available in the student's electronic service widget in the ELMO dashboard, under Forms, During Studies. An application with necessary attachments in pdf-document (study plan containing a scheduled plan for the remaining studies approved by tutor teacher/educator and a receipt of the 50 € payment) must be attached to the application. An application must be submitted two months before the expiration of the study entitlement.

Notice of discontinuation

The electronic form is available in the student's electronic service widget in the ELMO dashboard, subtitle End of Studies. By returning this form you will withdraw from your studies at Jamk University of Applied Sciences. Be sure that you have all grades in Peppi. After withdrawing you can´t get grades anymore.

The electronic certificate application is available via the electronic service widget in the student’s personal ELMO dashboard, under Forms, 3 End of Studies.
