A unique educational path at Jyväskylä Universities: music pedagogues can progress directly to master’s studies
The Jyväskylä Higher Education Group, comprising Jamk University of Applied Sciences and the University of Jyväskylä, introduces a new educational path in music, combining bachelor’s degree in music pedagogy with master’s degree in music education.
Students of universities of applied sciences feel that they belong to the higher education community
First-year students at universities of applied sciences are mainly very engaged to their studies. However, there are some challenges in reconciling studies and other aspects of life. The results are evident from the thesis completed in May 2026 for the Ode to Cooperation between One-Stop Guidance Centers and Educational Institutions project.
National Cyber Security Exercise for State Administration organizations targeted Supply Chains and Critical Dependencies
The 2026 National Cyber Security Exercise for state administration organizations was held from 25 to 29 May. In the exercise, the aim was to influence citizen services through cyber-attacks using real-world threat actor tactics and techniques.
