An audit that promotes high-quality everyday higher education has been launched at Jamk. The audit, to be carried out in 2026–2027, will assess the quality of Jamk’s operations and the effectiveness of its quality system.

At the Jukolan Juusto Hackathon in February 2026, teams sought ways to utilise whey, a cheese‑production side stream from Jukolan Juusto. The winner was Aircohol, which uses whey as a growth medium for microalgae.
