Practice Music School

Find a new hobby or refresh your existing musical skills at Jamk Practice Music School!

At our music school you can study several different instruments and singing. We welcome both beginners and those who have played an instrument or sung before. Students must be at least 5 years old; for singing lessons, the minimum age is 15. There is no upper age limit.

Our aim is to provide you with an opportunity to develop and improve your musical skills, whether you are a beginner or a more advanced music student.

Teaching is provided by students of the Music Pedagogue Degree Programme as part of their teaching practice. Weekly lessons last 45–60 minutes. The right to study is generally granted for one year at a time. However, the duration may vary depending on the length of the teaching trainee’s practice period. Available instruments also vary according to the trainees.

All lessons are held at the Finnish Music Campus, Pitkäkatu 18 - 22.
