EIT Food Test Farms brings agritech innovations to farms – Jamk coordinates the Nordic testing season in 2025
In the EIT Food Test Farms programme, 12 agritech startups tested their solutions on ten farms across the Nordic region. The initiative enables new innovations to be trialled directly on farms. In 2025, the Nordic activities were coordinated by Jamk.
BioBoosters Programme 2025 Strengthened Networks and Opened New Opportunities in the Nordic Agrotechnology Market
Growth companies joined forces with industrial partners in the BioBoosters Programme 2025 to co-create solutions for the future of agriculture. The initiative sparked pilot projects, research collaborations, and opened doors to Nordic markets.
Joint application period for English-language degree programmes starts on 7 January 2026
Jamk University of Applied Sciences offers seven Bachelor's degree programmes and six Master's degree programmes in English.
Scholarships for recently graduated engineers
At the end of the autumn semester of 2025, Jamk's School of Technology awards scholarships to newly graduated engineers and constructions managers who have completed their studies within the target time and have achieved good or excellent academic results.

Cyber defence of water services strengthened in an exercise in Jyväskylä
Operators responsible for the production and distribution of clean water and wastewater services gathered at the premises of the Institute of Information Technology at Jamk to practice operations and information exchange in a cyber incident situation.
