FIRST, i.e. Finnish-Russian Student and Teacher Exchange Programme, is a programme aiming to enhance cooperation between Finland and Russia's neighbouring area. Higher education institution networks can apply for funding for mobility between the two countries (teacher and student mobility) as well as for organising intensive courses.

At JAMK, the FIRST programme is administered by the schools participating in the programme. The School of Health and Social Studies has been awarded a funding from the programme for the following project:
