Physical activity across the life course
LIKES conducts research on physical activity across the life course. We aim to identify the determinants of physical activity, inactivity and sedentary behavior, and to provide solutions to increase physical activity and decrease sedentary behaviour. The effects of physical activity and sedentary behaviour on wellbeing, health and other factors are examined during the life course.

Finland among the top four countries in international comparison of the state of physical activity among children and young people
Finland is seen as one of the model countries for promoting the physical activity of children and young people. The physical activity scorecards have been reviewed at the International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress in Abu Dhabi.
