Jamk Talent Boost for Students and Graduates

What is Talent Boost?

Talent Boost is aimed at improving the opportunities of Jamk’s international students in finding internship or employment in Central Finland. We are hoping to improve the awareness of International Students about the job market and provide extensive information on recruitment, improve Finnish language learning possibilities and strengthen collaboration with businesses and organizations of Central Finland to rise the number of Jamk graduates that get employed in Central Region.

The main objective of the Talent Boost is strengthening the links between foreign students and graduates and working life in such a way that their opportunities can be considered equally positive in comparison to local Finnish students.

We strive to improve Jamk career counselling and guidance for foreign students and raise awareness about events and webinars that can be useful for students engaged in the job search.

Why is Talent Boost interesting to you as a student or a graduate?

Information flow: As a student or a recent graduate you might find it useful to have an accessible source of information in English about recent job market developments, available job positions that do not require advanced fluency in Finnish. In our newsletter and social media, we are frequently post useful links, interesting information, events and open job positions for international students and graduates.

Networking, engagement and learning: One of the on-campus tasks of the Talent Boost is organizing and hosting the events and workshops the goal of which is to help you develop your career skills, expand your network and get a better glimpse on the language learning and integration patterns. By following our website, blog or social media you will be able to know about our upcoming online or on campus activities that will help you to learn new information and develop your career path.
