Join the global conversation on digital rehabilitation!
From 26 & 27 November 2024, the RADIC project will host its Final Conference together with the Global Digital Rehabilitation Initiative at JKUAT in Kenya.
Location: Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya or online.
RADIC is an acronym for “Rehabilitation for all through digital innovation and new competencies”. RADIC is an EU-funded research project that contribute to capacity building in higher education to support and promote digital transformation in East Africa. The Global Digital Rehabilitation Initiative is a worldwide effort to transform rehabilitation through digital innovation. By fostering global collaboration and highlighting evidence-based practices, the initiative supports sustainable models for delivering care—ensuring that everyone, regardless of location, has access to high-quality rehabilitation.
The final conference brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, students, policymakers, and tech innovators to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in digital rehabilitation (DR).
As digital health continues to reshape care systems worldwide, this conference focuses on how emerging technologies like AI, mobile apps, tele-rehabilitation, and virtual tools can improve rehabilitation access and outcomes—especially in East Africa and similar contexts. At the same time, we explore how to build future competencies, promote digital inclusion, and ensure the sustainability of DR innovations beyond the project’s lifecycle.
Through engaging keynotes, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and research presentations, participants will reflect on RADIC’s results, shape future directions, and forge new collaborations in digital rehabilitation.
