Route studies are designed for you who aims to become an Sport Business Management Master's degree student. There are 5 study places available, filled in enrollment order. Students who have completed Route studies 1 in autumn 2025, can continue to Route studies 2 for spring term 2026.

The route studies include first year Sport Business Management degree programme courses.

The route will begin with orientation on Friday 22th August 2025 at Main Campus, Rajakatu 35, Jyväskylä. Participation in the orientation is required. Exact information about the orientation will be send to the students at a later time. After completing 55 ECTS credits in the Open University of Applied Sciences (UAS), the student can apply for study entitlement in the Degree Programme via Open University Route. Please note that accredited studies (such as previous degree studies) cannot be recognised in 55 ECTS credits. Only Campus Online -studies completed during the Open University Route Studies in Nursing can be recognised.
Tuition fees:
If your nationality is not of a European Union (EU) country, European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland, and you are offered admission to a degree programme that is not in Finnish or Swedish, you need to pay an annual tuition fee. The tuition fees also concern non-EU/EEA students who gain admission after applying via Open University Route. Non-EU/EEA students can also be exempted from paying tuition fees if they submit a copy of an exempting document.

Application fee:
Applicants who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee in order to apply to higher education studies. The application fee is 100 euros. There is no application fee for Finnish or EU citizens. The Finnish National Agency of Education will collect the application fee in connection with filling in the Studyinfo application form.

Acceptance to studies requires a Finnish personal identity number and strong identification. Make a strong identification in the suomi.fi service or with HAKA credentials when You do the enrollment. Otherwise, you will need either a valid passport or an EU ID card with a chip (according to the ICAO 9303 E-MRTD standard). In this case, please contact help.jamk.fi
