Prerequisites: The requirement is a bachelor's level degree in engineering in the field of information technology, or in the field of natural science (BBA in Business Information Technology)

Goal: By completing the route studies, you can apply through the open route and enter the Master's degree studies without entrance exams. Note! the degree and work experience requirement.
Please note that accredited studies cannot be recognised in applying through open route.
Exclusively for Route Studies 1 students there are Route studies 2 next spring, enrollment will be from 21 October to 3 November 2025.

Studies consist of - distance learning - online lectures 1 - 2 days / month, mostly on weekends - independent studies - learning in research and development projects and at workplaces

Accomplishment: Your studies consist of workshops, webinars (in Zoom or Teams) + independent studies online. We will meet via Zoom/Teams usually on Friday afternoons (typically at 14 EET or so). You will get more detailed information on the schedule for each course and the organization of your contact periods during your studies.

During the first day, we will introduce ourselves, the objectives and structure of the programme, our facilities and information systems.

Acceptance to studies requires a Finnish personal identity number and strong identification. Make a strong identification in the suomi.fi service or with HAKA credentials when You do the enrollment.
