Business Strategy and Analytics (online)
Business Strategy and Analytics, 30 ECTS, is delivered online in autumn and consists of the following courses.
- Strategic Management
- Financial Management
- Research-based Development
- Marketing and Sales Analytics
- Global Knowledge Economy
- Sustainable Brand Management
This module includes monthly live online lectures together with Jamk’s master’s students. Its flexible structure allows you to study from home and alongside full‑time work, with no need for a visa or residence permit. Once completed, you will receive a certificate and an official transcript of records.
Sustainable Venture Leadership in Global Economy (in-class)
Sustainable Venture Leadership in Global Economy, 30 ECTS, is delivered in class in spring and consists of the following courses.
- Risk Management
- Business Simulation
- Cybersecurity for Business Managers
- Qualitative or Quantitative Research
- Business Development Project
- Global Leadership and Culture
This option brings you into a shared learning environment with Jamk’s master’s students. To enter Finland and complete the module, a 90‑day tourist visa is required. Once completed, you will receive a certificate and an official transcript of records.
- You can choose to complete one (30ECTS) or two (60ECTS) Post-Graduate Certificates.
- If you complete both certificates, you will be awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma.
- You’re eligible to continue to Jamk Master’s Degree Programme in International Business Management once you complete one Certificate (30ECTS). In addition, at least two years of relevant work experience are required.
- For those who completed the Post‑Graduate Diploma in International Business Management (60 ECTS), the master’s thesis will be primary remaining requirement. See for more at: Become an MBA in International Business Management | Jamk
The programme offers an affordable alternative to studying abroad, with minimal travel requirements and significantly reduced living expenses. No language certificate is required, and there is no need for a time-consuming or costly residence permit process. You can study while working and only have to spend three months in Finland.
Admission to the Post-Graduate Certificate and Post-Graduate Diploma
Rolling admission to the Post-Graduate Certificate and Post-Graduate Diploma programmes is open year‑round via Application Link. Applicants must hold a nationally recognized bachelor’s (minimum 3 years) or master’s degree in a relevant field that provides a foundation for advanced management studies. No language proficiency certificate is required.
No application fees charged.
Admission to continue to the Master’s Degree Programme
After completing at least one Certificate (30ECTS), you need to apply to the master’s programme through studyinfo.fi in January (dates to be confirmed).
At the time of application, an applicant must have:
- At least one completed certificate, 30 ECTS
- A minimum of two years of post-bachelor work experience in business
Interview
Qualified applicants are interviewed monthly for the Certificate programmes. A single interview covers all stages of the process — the Certificates, the Diploma, and the master’s programme. No pre‑readings are required. External assistance is not permitted during the interview.
Fees
Study fee for a Certificate (30ECTS) is 5,850 € (incl. VAT)
Study fee for a Diploma (60ECTS) is 11,700 € (incl. VAT)

Entering Finland

Jamk assists in finding accommodation in student housing organizations which provide furnished student dormitory accommodation at affordable price. You can also choose to arrange your own housing independently if you prefer.
