Project
ROBOCOAST 2.0
Project sponsors
EDIH organisations, or European Digital Innovation Hubs, act as low-threshold contact points for companies, offering access to the expertise, training, specialist resources, partners, and development environments needed to utilise digital solutions and modernise operations. Support is also available for seeking funding.
The goal of Robocoast EDIH is to enhance the competitiveness of industrial SMEs by supporting the adoption of new digital technologies. The digital and green transition of industrial SMEs is of crucial importance both for Finland and for Europe as a whole.
Through Robocoast EDIH, companies can find partners, expertise, resources, and funding opportunities for developing and testing digital solutions. Companies also gain access to various RDI and laboratory environments where they can jointly test and develop new demand-driven digital solutions together with higher education institutions.
From a technology perspective, the strengths of the Robocoast EDIH consortium include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics, automation and robotics, and Industry 5.0 technologies. The consortium is coordinated by Prizztech Ltd.
The Robocoast EDIH consortium consists of 14 Finnish higher education institutions (including Jamk University of Applied Sciences) and two business development organisations from nine different regions. In addition, the consortium is strongly networked with other EDIHs as well as key national actors essential for service delivery, such as CSC, EEN, DIMECC, EIT Digital, Tieke, and Crazy Town.
