Development of the Hydrogen and RDI Ecosystem

The Hydrogen and RDI Ecosystem Development project supports Jamk's RDI activities by enhancing the university's expertise, profile and capacity in the themes of the hydrogen economy and industry renewal. The project focuses on developing Jamk's own RDI activities, as well as creating conditions for new, long-term RDI initiatives and for applying for external funding.

In the project, Jamk:

  • strengthens its role in the hydrogen economy and in the networks of industry renewal regionally, nationally and internationally,
  • structures the actors in the hydrogen field and identifies Jamk's areas of expertise where the university can act as an influential RDI partner,
  • develops and tests the AI-assisted Raven platform for collecting, analysing and visualising research and development data,
  • pilots a hydrogen-themed event, the hydrogen pilot, as part of the development of the Tested by Jamk model and assesses the possibilities for further development of the model.

The central objective of the project is to create common operating models, expertise and tools for Jamk, which support multidisciplinary RDI collaboration, the preparation of new projects and long-term impact in Jamk's activities.

The project has received separate funding for RDI activities (Ministry of Education and Culture) for 2026.
