Project description
The MoDiSchool aims to support primary school-aged children with motor difficulties by improving early identification and support. In the first phase, we investigate how challenges can be identified by utilizing information provided by children, parents, and teachers. We combine standardized tests with reports from children, parents, and teachers to assess motor difficulties and compare the results of different methods.
In the second phase, we implement a 20-week physical activity intervention program and examine its effectiveness and implementation. Using baseline and follow-up measurements, we study how the intervention affects physical and psychosocial factors. The program is co-designed in collaboration with teachers to ensure its relevance and feasibility within the school context. The study generates new scientific knowledge, and its results can be widely applied in schools and teacher education.
