Project description
The corona pandemic revolutionized the economy of the creative industries in the spring of 2020.

The project identifies, compares and tests solutions that enable high-quality teaching, performance and collaborative creation of music through remote connections. The project is implemented jointly between Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere and Turku University of Applied Sciences.

The project works in close cooperation with various actors in the Finnish music scene. Pedagogical models and guidelines on good practices are created for situations in remote music training, performance and production. Music professionals are trained on the basis of best practices identified and developed in the project. The information produced by the project will be aggregated and made freely available to everyone, e.g. in the form of websites and social media channels.

As a result of the project, Finnish music industry operators will be significantly better equipped than before to utilise remote technologies in teaching, performing and producing music. The capabilities of music companies and operators to design and implement new kinds of music education and consumer products and services will be strengthened.
