The 2026 national cyber exercise for municipalities and critical infrastructure operators was held on 9–13 February 2026 in the premises of the Institute of Information Technology of the Jamk University of Applied Sciences.

Jamk’s Alumni Dinner brought together alumni from all fields to celebrate and support a good cause. The Alum of the Year 2026 recognition was awarded to Kaisa Halmemies. The proceeds from the evening were donated to Save the Children Finland.

Jamk's strong results in career monitoring survey reflect the quality of the education, its relevance to working life, and that alumni find their degree useful in their careers.

In the EIT Food Test Farms programme, 12 agritech startups tested their solutions on ten farms across the Nordic region. The initiative enables new innovations to be trialled directly on farms. In 2025, the Nordic activities were coordinated by Jamk.

Growth companies joined forces with industrial partners in the BioBoosters Programme 2025 to co-create solutions for the future of agriculture. The initiative sparked pilot projects, research collaborations, and opened doors to Nordic markets.

Jamk University of Applied Sciences offers seven Bachelor's degree programmes and six Master's degree programmes in English.

There are no plans to tighten the COVID-19 related restrictions for the start of the spring semester. The aim is to support the well-being of students and whole JAMK community.
