Daytime Event: Focus on Working Life
The daytime program is especially designed for professionals and those interested in RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) partnerships. It offers support, solutions, and insights for organizations of all sizes to develop working life.
The Tested by Jamk expert event will address the transformation of traditional industry. Digitalization, globalization, and sustainability demands are challenging industrial production and its business models to evolve. Come listen and discuss how Jamk can support the journey toward a greener future.
You can explore the well-being effects of nature through Nature and Movement workshops or via virtual reality experiences of Finland’s Archipelago National Parks. Demonstrations will also show how technology can enhance workplace well-being from the perspectives of tourism, hospitality, construction, and building services.
Learn how cybersecurity expertise is being developed in Finland and globally. Discover how data and cyber systems are connected to the energy systems that power our society.
The program also explores what kind of interaction promotes collaboration and the importance of community and cooperation in higher education. Community-building is also examined through gaming: how collaborative digital gaming can strengthen study skills.
You’ll also be surprised by the versatility of a forest worker’s day and get to know Jamk’s forestry activities.
Evening Event: Science for Whole Family
The evening event is a family-friendly experience into the world of science and creativity.
At the main campus activity stations, you can use artificial intelligence to produce speech, sound, and video, collect superpowers, dance and make music, and try out exoskeletons.
You can explore the wonders of technology and peek into laboratories. Come and try producing hydrogen, marvel at the strength of materials, draw together with artificial intelligence, and learn about microalgae.
Our unique GamePit Pro e-sports space opens its doors to the world of digital gaming, e-sports, game technologies, and related testing.
Event info desks will serve and guide you in the A and F lobbies of our main campus. By spinning the wheel of fortune, you can win fun prizes – every spin wins!
