BIP Circular Economy Management in Finland

The course is conducted as a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) and includes:
- Online webinars (Spring 2027, exact dates will be published in September 2026)
- Independent study of related theory in Moodle (Jamk’s e-learning environment)
- On-site week at Jamk Rajakatu campus 10 - 15 May 2027
- Submission of a learning diary where you reflect on your learning

In order to conserve natural resources, a product's life cycle must continue. The circular economy combines business with sustainable development. By the end of this course, you will have learned to recognize the reuse of materials and understand the economic benefits of reusing them.
You will develop an understanding of circular economy business models and their material flows, and learn how to harness their potential. This course will provide a clear understanding of the circular economy and its boundary conditions. You will also be able to apply what you have learned in practice.

Costs covered by Jamk University of Applied Sciences:
- Travel expenses for all excursions during the week
- All Entrance/Admission Fees during the excursions

- Travel expenses to come to Jyväskylä
- Accommodation
Credit Points:
- The student receives a transcript from Jamk showing 5 ECTS when successfully passing the course
