A warm welcome to an exclusive event for the BioBoosters ecosystem.
Step into the home of BioBoosters – a vibrant environment for education, research, and innovation.
Day one focuses on innovation, insights, and live demos. You’ll experience demos from selected companies involved in BioBoosters activities and connect with other paticipants during the day, and at the networking dinner. Day two highlights the farmer’s voice. You’ll visit a nearby HRV farm and explore the surrounding test environments.

DAY 1: Innovation, Insights & Live Demos
13:00–14:00 | Welcome & Orientation
Overview for the event and introduction to Tarvaala Bioeconomy Campus and Smart Bioeconomy Testbed. Keynote about agricultural innovation from a speaker that is announced later.
14.00 - 14.30 | Networking coffee
15:00–16:30 | Demo Walk – Explore & Experience
Demo sessions from selected topics and technologies including drones, digital twin and smart machinery.
16:30 – 17:00 | Reflections
17:00 – 20:00 | Networking Dinner and Evening Dialogue at Ruustinna
After the transportation to dinner, the evening continues with combination of high‑quality local food with a short, thought‑provoking discussion continuing the day’s conversations in a more informal setting. Enjoy an optional sauna experience by a lake at the end of the evening.
DAY 2: Farmer Voices & Real‑World Perspectives

Two demo sessions, explored in small groups.
DEMO 1 | From Collaboration to Field Testing - Jari Valkola, CEO at HRV Farm
A guided tour in the HRV Farm’s cowshed and outdoor areas, introducing concrete examples of collaboration between farmers, technology providers and researchers.
DEMO 2: Farmer Perspectives on Data‑Driven Agriculture - Tero Lahti, Second Vice Chair of the Board at The Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK)
Farmer‑led insights into how data, digital tools and partnerships support everyday decision‑making. The session highlights customer needs, trust in technology, and practical value creation on a dairy farm.
11:00–11:45 | Informal Lunch
Hot lunch served on site, providing space for continued discussion and questions with farmers and experts.
Please note the programme is subject to minor changes. Final speakers and demo content will be confirmed closer to the event. The programme takes into account transportation from Jyväskylä to Saarijärvi and to Helsinki on the second day.
