In today’s fast-paced world, effective leadership communication is crucial. Leaders must navigate
multicultural environments, inspire diverse teams, and communicate clearly across various
platforms.

This master’s level course is designed to equip you with advanced leadership communication skills
essential for the 21st century in the multidisciplinary field. Through a combination of online
learning and an intensive in-person period, you will explore the principles of leadership
communication, intercultural communication, and convincing communication techniques.

The course emphasizes practical application, including the creation of leadership communication
videos, and fosters collaboration in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Study methods
Active participation (online learning modules, interactive workshops, group work and peer reviews)
During the intensive study week, the students will participate to several group activities and get to know beautiful city of Jyväskylä through local field visits.

This course is available for both Finnish and international students at both undergraduate and postgraduate programs worldwide.

This course will be delivered in English as a combination of online-learning between 15 April and 24 May 2026 and one intensive study week at Jamk Dynamo campus site in Jyväskylä between 25 and 29 May 2026.
