Open University Route
International Business Management, Master's level Route Studies 2 (online)
Route studies are intended for those aiming to enter a degree programme. By completing Route Studies 1 and 2, you can apply to become a degree student at JAMK through the Open UAS route application without an entrance exam.
Objectives
During route studies 1 and 2, the goal is to complete at least 30 credits from the first year of degree studies. After this, it is possible to continue with second-year studies.
Prerequisites
As prior qualifications, you need a Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) or equivalent competence. Applying to a Master's (UAS) programme through the open pathway does not remove the degree and work experience requirement.

Target group: Only for those who aim at the Master's degree programme in International Business Management and have taken Route Studies 1 in the autumn of 2026.
Description: Consists of 1st year studies of the International Business Management Master's degree programme.
Goal: By completing the route studies, you can apply via Open University Route and enter the degree studies without entrance exams. Note the degree and work experience requirement.
Accredited studies cannot be recognised in applying through open route.

Acceptance to studies requires a Finnish personal identity code and strong identification.
Strong identification: Make a strong identification in the suomi.fi service or with HAKA credentials when You do the enrollment. Otherwise, you will need either a valid passport or an EU ID card with a chip (according to the ICAO 9303 E-MRTD standard). In this case, please contact help.jamk.fi
