Information about the parallel publishing guidelines of publishers and financiers

The parallel publishing policies of journals and publishers can be checked from the services below. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, take a look at the journal’s or publisher's online pages, or contact them directly.

NOTE! When you send in the final draft of your article with a Publishing data collection form or via email to address, JAMK Publication Services will verify that the publisher allows parallel publishing.

Publishers’ Open Access terms

Green OA, Golden OA or Hybrid OA? Find out the publishers’ Open Access guidelines from the SHERPA/RoMEO service, which lists the different publishers’ guidelines concerning the terms of parallel publishing of journal articles. Information can be searched by using the name of the journal or publisher, or the journal’s ISSN code.

The colour coding used on the RoMEO site relay the extent of parallel publishing that the publication channel’s publisher allows:

GREEN = allows the parallel publishing of the final draft or publisher's version/PDF.
BLUE = allows the parallel publishing of the post-print or publisher's version/PDF.
YELLOW = only allows the pre-print version (This version is not suitable for parallel publishing on Theseus)
WHITE = parallel publishing in general is not allowed
