First round of experiments coming to the end

First round of about 20 experiments are almost finished. All higher education institutions from five different countries have been involved in piloting a number of video-based technologies provided by the project’s business partners in order to explore possibilities for collaborative learning.

In the experiments a great variety of topics were explored. For example, conducting a choir, teaching to play a music instrument, developing leadership skills, creating students’ portfolios, analysing student teachers’ teaching practice, supporting speech therapy sessions and enhancing storytelling among young pupils, were among the subjects that the experimenters delved into. As a project team, we have gained a lot of experiences during the experiments and collected rich research data for further analysis. As a team, we are all eagerly waiting for the results of the data analysis, as well as, for the second round of pilots to start.

The experimenters have disseminated their experiences in social media, for example, in Facebook, Twitter, the Blog (www.visual.uevora.pt) and by making short videos of their first pilots. You will find a few videos on our v-blog channel https://visual.flowboard.fi/channels/FXUPWZ3CTK/ in the folders -UTARTO and JAMK - where some of the experimenters have shared and published their experiences.

The team members will meet and plan for the second round of pilots in next partner meeting that will take place in June 5-7, 2019 in Lahti.
