SENEL tram

Throughout the whole month of May, citizens of the city of Brno can meet the SENEL tram containing our exhibition of best practices in employing young people with SEND. Passengers can read through a number of stories of young people succesfully employed at free labour market, and despite their disability, utilizing their competences which are recognized and valued by their employers as well as colleagues.

You can meet these young people at our webpage as well, have a look in the section "Stories".

International meeting in Czech Republic

The first exhibition of good practice and public meeting about the SENEL project took place in March 2016 in Brno. Around 50 participants from various institutions – government departments, job centres, care homes and NGOs – listened to the experience of the SENEL partners and discussed the ways to improve employment opportunities for young people with SEND. After lunch the participants left for two site visits organized as part of the seminar. The first one took place in a workshop V Růžovém sadu, z.ú. where the people make small wooden items. The second site visit took us to the social enterprises Hlívenka, Pradagos and Simeva focusing on agriculture and gardening.  During coffee break and lunch all participants were invited to look at and discuss the SENEL exhibition and videos presenting good practice in partner countries.
