Project description

The aim of the project is to advance the digitalization of agriculture and to develop a drone-based value chain in which data and technologies are utilized systematically and effectively. The project seeks to enhance existing agricultural processes and to create new operating models that support the transition toward data-driven, digitalized agricultural production supported by cutting-edge technologies.

To achieve these objectives, the project is divided into four work packages. Work Package 1 examines technological and operational challenges through case studies, with a particular focus on data-as-a-service applications and emerging business models. Work Package 2 concentrates on the management, usability, and productization of comprehensive agricultural data. Work Package 3 explores and conceptualizes future service solutions enabled by new technologies. Work Package 4 is responsible for coordinating parallel projects and ensuring coherent, joint communication efforts.

The project is implemented as a joint initiative coordinated by Jamk, in collaboration with FGI, Luke, and HAMK, during the years 2026–2028.
