Project description

F.I.N.E. – Farm Innovation for Nutrient Efficiency develops the efficiency of nutrient use and recycling at the farm level by combining experimental field measurements, sensor data, satellite data, and digital decision-support tools. At the core of the project is a digital environment designed to support farmers' decision-making by helping to identify nutrient losses, optimize fertilization, and assess the impacts of different farming practices on yields, farm economics, and the environment.

The project will be implemented in 2026–2028 as part of an international EIP-AGRI initiative involving Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.

HAMK coordinates the overall consortium.
