Project description
The aim of the DigiGreen Education project is to increase the competence and motivation of companies in Central Finland and their management and personnel, to pursue a greener business. This is achieved by providing practical ways of utilising digital methods and tools to support the green transition.
The long-term goal is to support companies in Central Finland, expecially in the industrial and production sector, in developing their business operations to be more ecologically sustainable and competitive, for example through resource efficiency, and by supporting companies in responding to sustainability reporting requirements.
The green transition can be promoted in companies with minor changes, such as through new working methods and and tools. By combining the green and digital transition, companies can improve their ability to meet current and future sustainability requirements. The dual transition will create new business opportunities for companies, including export.
The DigiGreen Education project offers companies a training package that concretely describes how to promote sustainable development in everyday life.
The project will be carried out together with The Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management.
