The DATA-AGRI project develops practical solutions for how farmers can manage, use, and protect their own production data. The aim is to strengthen farmers' position in the food chain and help farms make use of opportunities in the data economy in their business. The project supports development in line with the EU data strategy, where information can be shared safely between different actors without putting farms' business secrets at risk.
Farms constantly produce valuable information about production, storage, emissions, and the use of resources. DATA-AGRI helps identify how this data can be used in areas such as production planning, sustainability reporting, and the development of new services. At the same time, the project develops ways for farmers to control who their data is shared with and what it is used for. The project works together with farmers, producer organisations, and technology providers to develop solutions that support the use of data in everyday farm work.
