Career Monitoring
Five years after graduation, you will receive national Career Monitoring Survey. By answering, you provide students with information about employment in the field. Career monitoring survey is also part of the funding indicators of universities of applied sciences. Thank you for answering!
The Career Monitoring Survey is sent to alumni who graduated from a University of Applied Sciences with a bachelor’s or a master’s degree five years earlier. The aim of the survey is to examine the careers and employability of the graduates as well as to explore their satisfaction with their chosen degree.
Some questions also measure the quality of employment. These questions determine 3% of the basic funding for Universities of Applied Sciences. By answering, you will support your university.

In October, you will receive an invitation to respond to the Career Monitoring survey via both text message and email from uraseurannat(at)arvokyselyt.fi. Please take a moment to respond and help Jamk improve!

In our 2024 phone campaign, we received excellent feedback and suggestions from alumni about the kind of alumni activities they’d like to see from Jamk. It was wonderful to hear that most were satisfied with the degree they received from Jamk, while also identifying areas for improvement with the benefit of five years’ perspective.
We’ve shared your feedback with Jamk’s experts, and it will be taken into account in the development of education.
You especially hoped for information on continuing education and current webinars on topics that support professional skills. We also received feedback that most of our events are held in Jyväskylä. We promise to pay special attention to ensuring that alumni living elsewhere can also participate more easily in alumni activities.
