Jamk offers studies for Jamk Alumni free-of-charge via Open Studies:
- For Bachelor's Degree Alumni: Master-level Study Routes (two years after graduation)
- For all Jamk Alumni: Idea to business coaching and Business coaching -courses at Startup Factory (one year after graduation)
- For Professional Teacher Education Alumni: studies in the field of teaching and education at the Open Studies (one year after graduation).

Anssi Ylönen, Bachelor of Engineering, is Jamk's Alumni of the Year 2025
Group Manager Anssi Ylönen's active involvement as an alumnus and his long-term and diverse collaboration with Jamk were decisive in his selection as Jamk University of Applied Sciences' Alumni of the Year 2025.

Business studies opened doors to an international career
Jamk's alumna Tiia Manninen's business studies took her via Jyväskylä to Reykjavik, Harvard and Uganda. Today, she works as a consultant and encourages everyone to take advantage of the opportunities offered by studies for internationalisation.

Learning AI inspired Sami to study for a Master's Degree
When Sami Kostilainen was younger, he wanted to be a game developer and studied software engineering at Jamk. Later, he became passionate about Artificial Intelligence and completed a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data analytics in two years.

Student Projects and Recruitment
At Jamk Future Factory you can set an assignment for student teams to create solutions for different development challenges. Our students can also do an internship or thesis in your company or organization. Recruit a student from Jamk!
