Research project for changing situations in social and health care sector. Target group of the research is social and health care organizations who have faced large changes in their environment.

The research consortium consists of Arcada - Nylands svenska yrkeshögskola, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, National Institute for Health and Welfare, Finnish Institute of Occupational Health and
University of Wasa. Project is coordinated by JAMK University of Applied Sciences.

Osuva 2012-2014

Osuva research project gives new insight on collaborative innovation management and how the collaborative innovations can be supported. Project is funded by Tekes and research and target organizations.

New methods for managing innovation process

The focus is on searching new methods to manage and lead the collaborative innovation process which enable more active participation of personnel, clients and service providers. The employee welfare, participation, creativity, trust and commitment are seen as important factors in collaborative.

The project contains three work packages:

  1. a forum where the research consortium, work organisations and benefitting organisations collaboratively further develop the researched methods
  2. a survey and interviews
  3. an action research with work organizations.

The research gives new theoretical knowledge on collaborative innovation process especially during the change in social and health care sector and its service development. From the practical viewpoint the research will give guidelines how to manage the collaborative innovation process.
