International Business Management | Sport Business Management

Entrance examinations

In both master's degree programmes the student selection is based on the total score of the entrance examination. All the eligible applicants who have demonstrated their eligibility will be invited to the entrance examinations. 

The entrance exams include an interview and a written exam. The pre-reading materials for the written exams can be found below.

The applicant must score at least 20/60 points from the interview and 15/40 points from the written part in the entrance examination in order to pass the exam and have a chance to be admitted for the programmes. The total points from entrance examinations are 100 points. Applicant's English language skills will be assessed as a part of the entrance examination, thus, the entrance examination does not include a separate English language test.

Please note that these degree programmes do not co-operate in entrance examinations.

Pre-reading materials

The written exams in both of the entrance examinations for the degree programmes are based on pre-reading materials. 

Materials for 2022 intake will be published in January 2022.

Pre-assignments and entrance examinations

All applicants who have demonstrated their eligibility, attached the pre-assignment to the application and have scored at least 20 out of 40 points in the pre-assignment will be invited to the entrance examination (interview). Therefore, if an applicant fails to receive at least 20p. in the pre-assignment one is not invited to the entrance examination.

The student selection process includes a pre-assignment (max. 40p.) and an interview (max. 60p.), altogether max. 100 points. An applicant must score at least 10 out of 60 points from the interview.

Student selection is based on the total score of the entrance examination and pre-assignment. The entrance examination does not include a pre-reading material.

Professional Project Management

Entrance examination

All the eligible applicants who have demonstrated their eligibility will be invited to the entrance examination. The entrance exam include an spoken part (max 20 p.) and a written exam (max 80 p.). Total points from entrance examination are 100 points. The student selection is based on the total score of the entrance examination.

The applicant must score at least 5 points from the spoken part and 15 points from the written part in the entrance examination in order to pass the exam and have a chance to be admitted for the programme. Applicant's English language skills will be assessed as a part of the entrance examination, thus, the entrance examination does not include a separate English language test.

Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy | Digital Rehabilitation

Therefore, if an applicant fails to receive at least 20p. in the pre-assignment one is not invited to the entrance examination.

The student selection process includes a pre-assignment (max. 40p.) and an interview (max. 60p.), altogether max. 100 points. An applicant must score at least 10 points out of 60 points from the interview. Altogether, at least minimum 30 points from both of pre-assignment and interview are required in order to have a chance to be admitted to the programme.

Student selection is based on the total score of the entrance examination and pre-assignment. The entrance examination does not include a pre-reading material.

Selection between applicants with equal admission points

In cases of equal admission scores, JAMK's applicants will be ranked on the following grounds in the final selection:

International Business Management, Sport Business Management, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, Full Stack Software Development & Professional Project Management:

  1. points awarded for the entrance examination
  2. If the above mentioned criteria fail to produce a difference between tied applicants, they will be automatically ranked by a computerised lottery.

Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy & Digital Rehabilitation:

  1. points awarded for the entrance examination
  2. If the above mentioned criteria fail to produce a difference between tied applicants, all the applications with equal admission scores will be selected.
