Project description

The goal of the
ProCESS project is to develop a distinctive and innovative method for dealing
with complex management cases in organizations. Implementations of leadership
research include tailor-made
SESS training workshops to strengthen the use of the senses as
well as emotional and mental skills in addition to the rational capacity of the
decision-maker. During the three years of the ProCESS project, 12 complex
management case studies will be carried out by students in small
country-specific groups. A total of 192 students from four partner universities
will participate in the three rounds of case studies.

Every partner company has
problems that cannot be solved. These problems are brought to the attention of
students and it is their responsibility to identify the methods and new ways in
which this issue can be addressed. The goal is for the result companies to get
something valuable that they can put into practice.

The first round of
implementation will take place between September 2021 and January 2022 and will
end at the winter school organized by JAMK on January 24-27, 2022. In the first
implementation round, four case study topics have been developed in cooperation
with four partner companies: Sanofi Pasteur / France, De Klausen / Romania,
Mediatalo Keskisuomalainen / Finland, and Latvijas Pasts / Latvia. During the
winter school, groups of students present their solutions, and their solutions
are evaluated. The winter school program also includes evaluation interviews
with students as well as academic and business coaches.

In the autumn of 2022,
it is the turn of the second, and in the autumn of 2023 the third round of
implementation.
