Project description
Through Jamk's involvement, the project's target groups will have access to Jamk's equipment and expertise, enhancing their own RDI activities. With Jamk's expertise, the project can build small, generic pilots and obtain material support for technically challenging tasks, such as 3D printing and CAD design. Additionally, the project is linked to the Central Finland region's ADDVA-RDI initiative, allowing it to leverage the latest knowledge and expertise to achieve its goals.
The main responsible of the project was the city of Viitasaari, Jamk was the co-implementor. Financing: ERDF.
Project results
The RDI collaboration between Jamk and Viitasaari Digicenter was successful. The RDI collaboration was particularly focused on local industrial companies. During the project, activities related to 3D modeling and printing, robotics, and other RDI trends naturally integrated into the region through collaboration with Jamk. As a result of this collaboration, product development and prototypes emerged within the local companies, which can be utilized in growth-oriented operations.
