Group Manager Anssi Ylönen's active involvement as an alumnus and his long-term and diverse collaboration with Jamk were decisive in his selection as Jamk University of Applied Sciences' Alumni of the Year 2025.
Jamk's alumna Tiia Manninen's business studies took her via Jyväskylä to Reykjavik, Harvard and Uganda. Today, she works as a consultant and encourages everyone to take advantage of the opportunities offered by studies for internationalisation.
"I absolutely love my work as a tour leader. Every day is different, and the customers give me so much energy. I get to spend days outdoors in different environments. At the same time, I get to share my passion and knowledge of Japan."
