Sustainability and VET: From GreenComp Sustainability Competences to Pedagogical Practice

GreenComp, the European Sustainability Competence Framework, defines a set of sustainability competences to help learners develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes that promote ways to think, plan, and act with empathy, responsibility, and care for our planet and for public health. However, sustainability competences are developed best through active participation in real-world problem-solving within the institution’s sustainability and education development processes. Then, promoting sustainability can serve as a positive, empowering force that fosters belonging, ownership, and meaningful engagement in both work and study.

This presentation is based on the data and experiences of the ECF4CLIM Horizon 2020 project. The webinar language is English.

Webinar series "Research insights into Vocational Teacher Education (VTE)"

The webinar is part of the Research Insights into Vocational Teacher Education (VTE) series, which shares current research on vocational teacher education, learning resilience, and the development of digital pedagogy - especially in times of crisis and change.

In particular, the series provides listeners with a deeper understanding of the current educational landscape in Ukraine and of how resilience, diversity, and pedagogical expertise in teacher education are being developed amidst crisis through international collaboration.
