Tuesday June 9th - Pre-conference programme
12.30 - 16.00 Emerging Researchers Programme
Location: Jamk University of Applied Sciences, Lutakko campus, Piippukatu 2, Jyväskylä. We meet at the main lobby of the building.
Hosting Maarit Virolainen.
- 11.30 – 12.30 Voluntary lunch (with own expense), Restaurant Cube.
- 12.30 – 13.30: Emerging researchers' presentations about their ongoing research and topics they would like to share and discuss. Location: room D206, 2nd floor.
- Coffee break (with own expense)
- 14.00 – 16.30 Publishing in scientific journals in the field of VET. Introduction to VET research publishing journals (list of journals and webpages). Introduction to the article manuscript review process.
NJVET editors: discussion of experiences about submission.

18.30 Meet and greet
- At Jalo kitchen & lounge (Asemakatu 2, Jyväskylä / Original Sokos Hotel Alexandra). With own expense.
- An informal gathering for all participants arriving on Tuesday – a chance to meet colleagues and connect in a relaxed setting before the conference begins.

16.30 - 18.00 Cultural programme: Guided walking tour at Jyväskylä and historic University campus following the footstep’s of the famous architects. Meeting point will be announced later.
19.30 Social networking dinner at Harmooni restaurant
Social and cultural programme are for an additional fee, registration before conference.
