Submission of abstract
NordYrk 2026
We invite researchers, developers, practitioners, policymakers, experts and students to propose abstracts on their conducted or ongoing research or research-orientated development projects related to the conference theme.
The abstract submission is open from 3rd November 2025 until 31st January 2026 at 24:00 CET. Abstracts will be reviewed, and information regarding the acceptance will be delivered in February 2026 to the corresponding author indicated in each abstract submission.
Familiarise yourself with the presentation-format-specific guidelines below when preparing and submitting your abstract. Proposals can be based on completed research, development projects, or works in progress. Please, indicate this in your abstract.
Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts, for which a publication permission is asked from each author separately after acceptance. The book will remain available on the NordYrk website after the conference.
Paper presentation sessions give delegates the opportunity to present their research and findings in depth. These presentations include data and results. During each session, three proposals are grouped together. Each presenter has a total of 25 minutes, comprising a 15 / 20-minute presentation followed by 10 / 5 -minute question-and-answer session.

A poster session allows authors to visually present their research or project. The poster presenters bring their poster, A0 size, to the conference and place it with the support of the conference organisers on the poster walls at the conference premises.
More detailed instructions on poster session practices will be provided once the abstract has been accepted and its place in the conference programme has been confirmed. The conference organisers will arrange the poster session in the programme based on the total number of posters to be presented.

Symposium sessions cluster maximum 3 presentations around a common theme. The total time of a symposium is 1,5 hours. Symposium session is planned and organised including time allocation by the symposium organiser.
It is recommended that at least two different countries / national perspectives are represented in the symposium, but this is not a requirement.
The symposium abstract submission document includes one abstract framing the symposium, followed by a maximum of three separate abstracts. They can all be added in the same abstract-preparing document. The symposium organiser is also the corresponding author for all the symposium abstracts.
