Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way organisations operate. At the same time, harnessing its full potential requires new capabilities and a new kind of leadership.

The Generative AI Pioneers – Exploring and Developing Innovation Capabilities research project, conducted by researchers from Jamk University of Applied Sciences, University of Vaasa, and VTT, investigates how generative AI can be leveraged in innovation and product development, and what kinds of skills and leadership approaches are needed to succeed.

The Generative AI Pioneers – Exploring and Developing Innovation Capabilities research project is a joint initiative of three partner organisations – Jamk University of Applied Sciences, University of Vaasa, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland – and is coordinated by Jamk University of Applied Sciences. The project runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027.
