Info package for Game Track participants
Welcome on board with Game Track! Here you can find important dates and other updates related to the implementation starting in spring 2026. The second implementation of program is arranged from 2 March 2026 to 25 August 2026. During the program, a joint study and networking trip to a game industry event will also be organized.
For starters, you can check out the opening webinar materials which guide you into the world of Game Track!
The Game Track program implementation begins in early March with a joint orientation week (2–6 March 2026). During the starting week, participants should be prepared for shared activities and group-building sessions each day starting at 1:00 PM and ending no later than 4:30 PM. Detailed information about the joint meetings scheduled for the orientation week will be sent to the selected participants by email during February, and at the latest once the application period has ended.
The weekly schedule below will be followed after the orientation week.
Note! The Game Track program’s summer break is scheduled for July, during which no joint sessions will take place, and participants can work on their projects independently.
Dev Time
Mondays and Fridays are dedicated to progressing your project on your own schedule. To support your work, feel free to use the communal workspaces and voice channels for Game Track participants on Discord. If needed, physical workspaces will also be arranged for teams working independently.
Guidance
During the Guidance meetins, the focus is on you! The topics covered are based on your needs and can relate either to project progress or to your future and well-being as a professional in the gaming industry.
You can book a personal session with either Jere Lamberg or Risto Koskenkorva and meet our experts on Discord in the #GT2 channel. Risto is also available in person at the Rajakatu main campus, room C129A.
The GT team warmly recommends making guidance sessions a regular, if necessary even weekly, part of your developer routine! ☺
Jere is available on Discord on Tuesdays from 10 am to 12 pm and on Wednesdays From 1 pm to 4 pm.
Risto is available on Discord either Rajakatu Campus on Tuesdays from 13.15 pm to 5.15 pm.

These meetings include current discussions, industry updates, networking opportunities, tips, practical advice, and Q&A sessions. The session provides a relaxed and useful moment to have a little pause, share updates with other Game Track participants, and reflect on current topics.
If you wish to suggest topics to be covered during Weekly Banter, you can submit your request in advance.
