eVAVE
Coaching Network: Employment in Esports
The eVAVE project promotes the employability of esports coaches by providing a platform that offers both mentoring and networking support on the path toward a professional career.
The project will be implemented from June 1, 2025, to January 31, 2027.

Employment in Esports
Challenges in esports coaching in Finland hinder the development of both coaches and organizations. Information and resources related to the field are fragmented, which weakens the formation of common practices and the overall cohesion of the sector. Those aspiring to become esports coaches also lack a clear career and educational path.
The project's main target group consists of individuals interested in pursuing esports coaching as a professional career. These individuals may include, for example, unemployed jobseekers, students, self-employed persons, people with partial work ability, or career changers.
Project Objectives
- Promote the professionalization of esports coaching and create a platform that supports the skill development and employment opportunities of esports coaches
- Connect esports coaches with coaching organizations and provide more career opportunities for coaches
- Support the professional growth and career development of esports coaches while increasing the visibility of esports coaching
- Encourage esports coaches to engage in peer mentoring and knowledge sharing
