Welcome to dive into the inspiring world of science and development!
Researchers’ Night will be held on our main campus on Rajakatu on Friday, 25 September 2026, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Admission to the event is free.
Come and discover the wide range of exciting work being done at Jamk. The programme will feature multidisciplinary content, including opportunities to explore our hands-on environments, expert lectures, workshops, experiments, and exhibitions. The programme will be updated on this page at a later date.
Please note that photography and video recording will take place during the event for the use of Jamk University of Applied Sciences and Researchers’ Night.
Researchers’ Night is an event for the whole family, celebrating the world of science and creativity. Everyone is warmly welcome, from babies to grandparents!
Our main campus is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. There are plenty of frame-locking and covered parking spaces reserved for cyclists. Local Linkki buses also stop right next to the main campus.
Visitors arriving by car can park in all parking spaces at the main campus, except for separately marked reserved heated pole spaces.
All parking spaces are subject to a fee, which is paid via the eParking app. Parking costs €2/hour. We recommend downloading the eParking app in advance. See the eParking instructions.
There are some heated and charging poles at the main campus, and their use is charged separately based on electricity consumption, at a rate of €0.25/kWh. The poles are operated via the eParking app.
Accessibility
During the evening event, entry is through doors A1 and F1. The pink parking spaces on the map below are designated accessible parking spots.
We recommend using the end of the parking area closest to the Orthodox Church for accessible parking, as the route to door F1 is level.
The event route runs from door F1 to door A1. The event is mostly on one level, and there are no thresholds in the spaces. The FK floor is accessible by elevator. Multiple accessible restrooms are available along the route.
