Jamk Takes Part in the City of Light – "Let's Draw" Artwork Invites Everyone to Get Creative

Jamk is participating in the City of Light event for the first time 25.9.–3.10.2026. The light installation Let's Draw, which will be projected onto the B-wing of the main campus, invites creativity.

French artists Maxime Touroute and Rémy Dupanloup invite you to a Let's Draw art experience where you become one of the creators of a monumental light mural! Take out your phone and join in drawing in real time on the facades of buildings together with other participants. The work leads participants to creative themes and inspires them to create a colourful and communal work of art.

Whether you're an experienced illustrator or just curious to try something new, come and leave your own mark on this real-time collaborative artwork where everyone's contribution counts.

The work can be seen at the City of Light event in Jyväskylä, on the façade of Jamk's main campus 25.9.–3.10. Fri-Sat at 19–24 and Sun-Thu 19–22.

While visiting the City of Light event, stop by the Juvenes Food Truck for a bite to eat and something to drink. Snacks and refreshments will be available near the light installation during event hours, weather permitting.

Follow the light installations of the event on the City of Light Instagram account.
