EFMD Programme Accreditation is one of the most respected international quality labels in business and management education. Awarded through a rigorous international peer-review process, it assesses degree programmes against the quality standards established by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), a global accreditation organisation. The evaluation focuses on areas including academic quality, student experience, internationalisation, links with industry, and the overall impact of the programme.
Jamk’s International Business degree programme was the first degree programme in the Finnish universities of applied sciences sector to receive EFMD’s programme-level accreditation in 2012. The accreditation awarded in July 2026 marks the programme’s fourth consecutive successful accreditation.
The renewed accreditation reflects Jamk’s long-term commitment to continuous quality enhancement and ensures that the programme continues to meet internationally recognised standards while responding to the evolving needs of global business.
In its 2026 evaluation report, the international peer review team highlighted the programme’s strong links with working life and international character, the expertise of its teaching staff and close collaboration with stakeholders as key strengths.
