Alumni Feedback on Jamk Degree Studies
Alumni particularly positively assessed the applicability of the skills in work, the career readiness provided by the degree obtained from Jamk, and the development of initiative and self-direction during their studies.
Areas for improvement were identified, as in other universities of applied sciences, in supporting entrepreneurial skills and strengthening stress tolerance.
The Master's degree (YAMK) was praised for its quality, but there was still a desire for increased recognition of the degree in the workforce as a higher education qualification. Additionally, improvements were specifically hoped for in the thesis process.
Feedback has been processed in Jamk's quality work and is utilized in the development of education. The results of the career monitoring also directly affect the funding of universities of applied sciences (3% of basic funding).

Thanks to everyone who responded to the survey and participated in the campaign!
