Our flagship BioBoosters hackathons provide a modular, scalable process that matches solutions to challenges. With BioBoosters Hackathons, we unbox the out-of-the-box ideas, connect cross-sectoral and international knowhow and bridge the business and research.
Apart from being fun and intensive collaborative learning experience, Hackathon is impactful for boosting circular bioeconomy business and cooperation.
The BioBoosters Network first came together in a project ‘BioBoosters – Boosting Circular Transition’ launched in 2023. The project exceeded its ambitious goals and connected the partnership with a shared open innovation knowhow.
With the BioBoosters hackathons, we brought together 500+ specialists from 200+ organisations to tackle 18 industry challenges and find solutions to boost the circular transition of the bioeconomy sectors. With 120 mentored teams, 23 launched partnerships and a high international participation, the hackathon demonstrated its impact as a launchpad for innovation co-operation.
After the project, the network co-operation continues under the coordination of Jamk. With the thematic focus on circular and sustainable bioeconomy, the network looks to tap into new funding opportunities as well as to continue the international co-operation in hackathon organisation.
