GamePit Matara
Jamk GamePit Matara is located in the Digi & Game Center at Matarankatu on Tourula. GamePit Matara's facility is perfectly suited for example coaching, work wellbeing and social gatherings.
Gaming facility for well-being events and coaching
Jamkin GamePit Matara is located on the premises of Digi & Game Center on Matarankatu 2, Tourula. Game coaching activities are mainly held on Matarankatu.
There is a large TV and a projector where you can preview game footage or even movies. The customer of the facility has the right to use the shared kitchen and its equipment. In addition to these there are 11 gaming PC sets at the facility. 1 PC set and the console corner has been relocated to next room which is called Matara Lounge. At the Matara Lounge there is also Rally bench with virtual glasses.
GamePit Matara is also a great facility for gaming with a group - such as for work-wellbeing events, birthdays, or gaming with a group of friends. In the same building you will also find DGC's sauna facilities with a large common room and its own kitchen. You can rent Sauna facilities as combo with GamePit Matara facilities.

Esports facilities for a group - perfect coaching facility
In addition to the game equipment, Matara's facilities also have a large TV and a projector, which you can use to watch game situations as a replay, for example. The renter of the facility has the right to use Digi & Game Center's stylish communal kitchen and its equipment.

Rent prices
The facility and equipment are rented as it is. VAT. 24% is added to the price. The facility is rented for a minimum of three hours. When booking a coach, the guidance is done at the time agreed upon during the contact, on weekdays between Monday to Thursday. (GamePit Matara can be reserved until 15/6/).

GamePit reserves the right to change prices. Cancellations of reservations made less than 5 weekdays will be charged 50% of the price of the reservation.
Discounts
Student discount
- All secondary and university students are entitled to the student discount
- You will receive a 20% discount by showing your student card at the time of booking
- The student discount can be combined with all normal priced facility bookings
Staff discount
- Everyone who works at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences is entitled to the staff discount
- you get a -20% discount by showing your JAMK staff card when booking the facility
- discount can be combined with all standard priced facility reservations
Recurring reservations
The bonus system for bookings is in use in our GamePits!
- When you make 3 reservations during the year, you get one reservation for free
- The free reservation must be made within 6 months of your third reservation

Booking instructions
- Make a reservation using the form below the booking calendar
- After booking, GamePit staff will contact you (by phone or email) to check schedules. The facility can be booked both hourly and for longer periods - eg for a weekend or a week if necessary
- Cancellations of reservations made less than 5 weekdays will be charged 50% of the price of the reservation.
- The customer will be given 1 GamePit Matara facility key set, which can be used to open the outer door of the Digi & Game Center, as well as the inner door. The key can be used to open the GamePit Matara facility
- GamePit staff will review safety instructions, exits, and general policies with the customer GamePit staff and the customer will sign the usage agreements electronically before the start of the rental
